After Rehab Physio London’s accountant retired, this growing multidisciplinary therapy practice needed to find a replacement to take over. Warrener Stewart turned out to be an excellent choice.

The Challenge

Rehab Physio London was set up in 2020 by three experienced therapists who, having worked in both the NHS and the private sector, wanted to offer private, home-based rehabilitation services in the community.

Seeing a need for additional therapies to help treat the more complex cases they were dealing with, they developed a multidisciplinary team of experts to cover these requirements.

It turned out they had identified a gap in the market and the practice was steadily expanding when their accountant announced he was retiring, meaning they needed to find a replacement to take over.

The Solution

They were introduced to, and quickly began working with, Warrener Stewart which turned out to be a very good decision.

Director, Gemma Wilson said; “As physiotherapists we know our trade really well, but we don’t have any accounting knowledge, so working with Warrener Stewart has been excellent.”

“Although we were already a successful business, since we engaged with Warrener Stewart our accounts have been more organised and better structured. Things being more streamlined makes running the business easier.

“Additionally, now if we have a question or want to get some feedback, there is always someone available to talk to. For example, if we think of something we want to do with the business, Warrener Stewart can produce a report that helps support us in making the right business decision. It’s reassuring and helps us to move forward with confidence and continue to grow.”

The Result

Rehab Physio London offers the same therapeutic inputs as you’d expect to find in an in-patient setting, so can work on even the most complex of cases. They are one of the only private rehabilitation practices able to offer this breadth of service to people at home and, as a result, the practice is steadily expanding.

Warrener Stewart is the right size to be able to comfortably accommodate and support any future growth for many years to come. They currently manage the annual accounts and corporation tax for the company, as well as having constructed a management accounts pack that allows the practice managers to see how the business is performing financially throughout the year.

In addition to the above, Warrener Stewart also handles the personal tax returns for the three directors and works closely with the bookkeeper who runs the company’s payroll and day-to-day accounting.
