Clients enjoy working with Warrener Stewart because we’re efficient and we get the job done. We always try to make things as easy as possible for our clients, and go out of our way to help solve any financial issues they might have, even if these are not directly related to the work we are doing for them.

Josh Brauteseth joined Warrener Stewart as an Audit Senior in January 2023. He started his career at PWC after school and spent 5 years there completing his Articles with the South African Institute of Charted Accountants (SAICA). In addition to this he has also completed his Bachelor of Accounting Sciences in Financial Accounting at the University of South Africa.

As a senior auditor Josh is involved in projects from planning to final completion. He is responsible for ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and within the prescribed timeframe as well as handling all client communications.

Josh has wide-ranging experience and has worked with clients from many different sectors. One of the things he most enjoys about his work is producing an audit paper that is accurate and free of issues. It is meticulous work which he finds very satisfying, and having good attention to detail means he can quickly spot errors or issues and deal with them. He also enjoys developing an audit strategy and putting the correct methodology in place to make it the best it can be. The high-quality reporting this can deliver is extremely beneficial to clients.

With regards to working at Warrener Stewart, Josh likes being part of a slightly smaller, friendlier firm, and in particular having direct contact with the directors, which he finds beneficial. As part of the auditing team he also plays his part in delegating work to, and coaching, junior team members.

Josh currently lives in Kent. When not working, he likes to watch football and cricket. He also enjoys travelling, in particular visiting nature reserves and going on safari back in South Africa.

“For the past 20 years Warrener Stewart has consistently given good advice... going above and beyond their remit.”
